Company Portal Setup

iOS

Prerequisites

  • Install Company Portal app from the App Store.
  • Device is running iOS 11.0 or later.
  • Maintain a healthy Wi-Fi connection until all steps are complete.
  • Have access to safari web browser on your device.

 

Pausing for more than a few minutes during enrolment might cause the Company Portal app to close or end setup. If this happens, reopen the app and try again.

 

  1. Open the Company Portal app and sign in with your work or school account.

     
  2. When prompted to receive Company Portal notifications, tap Allow. Company Portal uses notifications to alert you if, for example, your device settings need to be updated.

     
  3. On the Set up access screen, select Begin.

 

    4. The device management and your privacy window will pop up next, read over and understand what the app can and           cannot do to your device. Then tap continue.

 

    5. Step 1 is now ticked, tap continue at the bottom to progress to step 2.

 

    6. Intune Company Portal will now download a profile, tap allow.

 

    7. Once the profile has downloaded, close the little pop-up window and then tap Continue Now. On the next window tap         continue at the bottom of the screen to begin step 3.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    8. Follow the steps detailed on the next screen. The profile you downloaded will be here.

 

 

    9. Tap on Install at the top right, enter your devices password if required and then tap install again. A warning may pop

        up that looks like the picture on the right. Read over and Install. Another pop-up will appear, tap Trust after reading.

 

    10. After the install has completed, tap done at the top right and navigate back to the Intune Company Portal app. The            app should recognise the profile has been installed, tap done, if not tap Yes, I installed the Profile.

 11. The Intune will now check your device and determine if its compatible. This process may take a while so don't worry,

          just let it run its process. After that has completed tap done at the bottom of the screen and you should now have             access to all the apps the company has allowed you.

 

 

Android

 

Prerequisites

  • Install Company Portal app from the Android Store.
  • Maintain a healthy Internet connection until all steps are complete.

 

-Note- Ignore Alpine Ski House in this article. Jack Taylor Group Pty Ltd will be displayed in the app you download.

During enrollment, you might be asked to choose a category that best describes how you use your device. Your company support uses your answer to check the apps that you have access to.

 

1. Open the Company Portal app and sign in with your work or school account.

2. If you're prompted to accept your organization's terms and conditions, tap ACCEPT ALL.

3. Review what your organization can and can't see. Then tap CONTINUE.

4. Review what to expect in the upcoming steps. Then tap NEXT.

5. Depending on your version of Android, you might be prompted to allow access to certain parts of your device. These         prompts are required by Google and not controlled by Microsoft.

    Tap Allow for the following permissions:

  • Allow Company Portal to make and manage phone calls: This permission enables your device to share its international mobile station equipment identity (IMEI) number with Intune, your organization's device management provider. It's safe to allow this permission. Microsoft will never make or manage phone calls.
  • Allow Company Portal to access your contacts: This permission lets the Company Portal app create, use, and manage your work account. It's safe to allow this permission. Microsoft will never access your contacts.


If you deny permission, you'll be prompted again the next time you sign in to Company Portal. To turn off these messages, select Never ask again. To manage app permissions, go to the Settings app > Apps > Company Portal > Permissions > Phone.

 

6. Activate the device admin app.

Company Portal needs device administrator permissions to securely manage your device. Activating the app lets your organization identify possible security issues, such as repeated failed attempts to unlock your device, and respond appropriately.

7. Your device begins enrolling. If you're using a Samsung Knox device, you'll be prompted to review and acknowledge the     ELM Agent privacy policy first.

8. On the Company Access Setup screen, check that your device is enrolled. Then tap CONTINUE.

9. Your organization might require you to update your device settings. Tap RESOLVE to adjust a setting. When you're done updating settings, tap CONTINUE.

10. When setup is complete, tap DONE.

11. You should now have access to all apps your company has enabled for you.

 

 

 

MacOS

 

Prerequisites

  • Install Company Portal app from the App Store or Internet.
  • Maintain a healthy Internet connection until all steps are complete.

 

Install Company Portal app

  1. Click this link to download Company Portal - Enroll My Mac.
  2. The Company Portal installer .pkg file will download. Open the installer and continue through the steps.
  3. Agree to the software license agreement.
  4. Enter your device password or registered fingerprint to install the software.
  5. Open Company Portal.

1. Sign in to Company Portal with your work or school account.

 

2. when the app opens, select Begin.

 

 

3. Review what your organisation can and cannot see on your enrolled device. Then select Continue.

 

4. On the Install management profile screen, select  Download profile.

 

 

5. Your device's system preferences will open.

    a. Select Install and then select Install again.

    b. If you're prompted to, enter your device password.

 

 

6. Once the profile is installed, it will appear in the profiles list under Management Profile.

 

7. Return to Company Portal.

 

8. Your organisation might require you to update your device settings. When you're done updating settings, select Retry.

 

 

9. When setup is complete, select Done.

 

10. You should now be logged into your Company Portal and have access to the allowed apps.

 

 

Windows 10

 

Prerequisites

  • Ensure a healthy internet connection through out the whole process.
  • Install the Company Portal App from either the Windows Store online.

 

Pausing for more than a few minutes during enrolment might cause the Company Portal app to close or end setup. If this happens, reopen the app and try again.


1. Open the Company Portal app You have just downloaded and sign in with your personal work email.                     (xxxxx@jacktaylor.group)

 

2. A window will open asking for your approval. Read over, Tick the box and click OK.

 

 

3. Now you need to set up Microsoft Authenticator, Select Mobile app in the first box and select Recieve notifications for verification. Then Click Set Up.

4. Follow the steps on the next page, after you set up Microsoft Authenticator on your mobile phone, go back to your windows device and click Next, and click Next again.

5. Type in the code in your Microsoft Authenticator into the next window and click Next, and then click OK.

 

 

6. The windows device will finish registering Click DONE.

 

7. You will then be logged in to the Company Portal. Now you need to set up your Windows device. Navigate to the home page of the app and click on the blue text underneath Devices. Then click Next.

 

8. Click Connect with the wheel next to it. Another window will pop-up. Type in your personal work email and password once more then click Sign In.

 

9. Tick the box labelled Don't show this again, and click Yes. The device will now be registered and you companies policies will be applied.

 

10. The Process may take a while, once the green tick appears click Next. Step 1 and Step 2 should now both have a green tick. Click Done

 

11. Your device is now connected to your Company Portal, you can access all the apps you have been allowed.
